The Gods Did Not Die—They Rebranded and Opened Human Resources

Once upon a time, gods demanded temples, offerings, and unquestioned obedience.

Then somebody explained modern branding.

Now they have spacecraft, public-relations teams, broadcast events, compensation packages, and recruitment campaigns promising you can “get paid to evolve.”

Progress!

In The Sovereign Accord, humanity has survived hidden alien infiltration and the devastating Galactic War. Mehen has been praised as Earth’s savior after waging war against Reptilian and Grey strongholds.

Naturally, after liberating the planet, he appoints himself its steward.

Because nothing says freedom like one extremely powerful man deciding he should supervise everybody forever.

Mehen’s next grand solution is the Ascendant Protocol, a plan to transform humans into Homo Galacticus through artificial intelligence, genetic advancement, psychic training, and cosmic integration.

The motto?

Ascend or Perish.

Very subtle.

The Accord’s recruitment campaign offers housing, healthcare, monthly compensation, advanced training, family visits, mental upgrades, and the chance to participate in humanity’s next evolutionary stage. It sounds like a government job, a luxury wellness retreat, and a cult brochure had a baby aboard a spaceship.

Applicants are promised upgraded physical ability, improved clarity, telepathic development, and a possible future in intergalactic diplomacy.

You may even receive an AI-approved emotional-support cat.

Which is delightful until the cat starts reporting your suspicious thoughts.

The genius of the Accord’s messaging is that it does not sell control.

It sells importance.

You are not surrendering your DNA. You are “joining the future.”

You are not being monitored. You are “receiving integrated support.”

You are not helping a cosmic ruler consolidate power. You are “protecting Earth.”

That is how the best propaganda works. It takes your deepest fear, wraps it in your greatest desire, and presents the combination in a gorgeous digital brochure.

Afraid of becoming irrelevant?

Become post-human.

Afraid Earth will be attacked again?

Join the Accord.

Afraid you are ordinary?

Congratulations. Your psychic-warrior application has been approved.

But there is one problem inside Mehen’s perfect evolutionary campaign.

Her name is Ra.

Ra is questioning the prophecy, the program, the missing pieces, and the men controlling the narrative.

She is not impressed by cosmic titles.

She is not soothed by expensive accommodations.

And she has started looking at the Accord’s salvation package like somebody who finally scrolled down to the terms and conditions.

The gods rebranded.

Unfortunately for them, Ra kept the receipts.
