    • Any trademarks, service marks, logos, taglines, or trade dress associated with R.H. Legner, 22ndCenturyHumansLLC.com, and their book lines (including but not limited to “22nd Century Humans” and “Ascension Chronicles”) are the sole property of the Publisher.
    • Unauthorized use of these trademarks in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, mistake, or deception—including product branding, domain names, social media handles, or promotional materials—is strictly prohibited.
  5. Digital Rights Management (DRM) & Anti-Circumvention
    • All digital versions (e-books, audiobooks, PDFs) distributed by R.H. Legner and 22ndCenturyHumansLLC.com may include DRM or other copy-protection measures. Circumventing or attempting to circumvent such technological protections is a violation of federal law (Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 1201 et seq.) and may result in civil and criminal liability.
  6. Fair Use Policy
    • While the Publisher respects “fair use” (17 U.S.C. § 107), any use of copyrighted text beyond brief quotations for purposes of criticism, news reporting, scholarship, or research must still acknowledge authorship, source, and must not exceed 500 words without permission.
    • The Publisher reserves the right to challenge any claim of fair use that exceeds these limits or conflicts with the Publisher’s rights.

    • The Publisher actively monitors unauthorized reproductions, file-sharing networks, and unauthorized translations or adaptations of its works.

    • For digital editions (e-books, audiobooks), no personally identifiable information is embedded in the file, nor is any such data shared with third parties unless the reader has explicitly opted into the Publisher’s mailing list via 22ndCenturyHumansLLC.com.
    • If you choose to join the Publisher’s newsletter or promotional mailing list, our Privacy Policy (available at https://22ndCenturyHumansLLC.com/privacy) governs how we collect, store, use, and disclose your personal information.

  10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
